Scientific Solutions - LabMaster LabRack^® BNC

The LabRack BNC provides the LabMaster with convenient BNC connections in an industry standard 19" rack mount configuration. Made of light weight, high-quality, 1/8" thick aircraft aluminum - it provides a strong rack mount panel with a brilliant brushed aluminum finish and easy to read black silkscreen legend. Ideal for the research or testing lab environment where rack mount instrumentation is utilitized to provide a professional "easy-to-access" configuration.

BNC connections are ideal for many applications. They are widely used and standard patch cables are easily obtained. They are rugged, yet easy to use and stay connected with the "twist-on" locking feature of the connector.

The Scientific Solutions' LabRack BNC panel provides 51 BNC connections for the most popular signals:

• 24 Digital I/O
• 16 Analog Input
• 2 Analog Output
• 9 Counter/Timer (Gate 1 &2, Source 1, 2 & 3, Out 1, 2, 3 & 4)

Layout of LabRack BNC

The LabRack BNC is available in two configurations

1. LabRack BNC Panel for mounting in your own laboratory rack

or

2. LabRack BNC with MiniRack Enclosure - the BNC panel is pre-mounted in a bench top MiniRack enclosure.

1. LabRack BNC Panel:

In this configuration, you would mount the LabRack BNC into your own laboratory rack. The LabRack BNC is 19" (482.6mm) wide and standard 4U (7", 117.8mm) high for industry standard rack mounting. For configurations using the LabMaster DMA, the external ADC board is mounted directly on the back of the BNC panel with ribbon cable connections for the LabMaster PC Interface to the LabRack BNC. For configurations using the LabMaster AD, ADEX, or PRO a single round cable (supplied with the card) connects from the panel to the PC Interface.

2. LabRack BNC with MiniRack Enclosure:

In this configuration the LabRack BNC unit is mounted in a bench top mini rack enclosure. The front of the unit has the LabRack BNC panel.  The back of the unit contains the connections for the LabMaster. Using the LabMaster DMA, the cable connections are ribbon cables. With the LabMaster AD, ADEX or PRO the cable connections are a single round cable.

The LabRack BNC Desktop unit measures approximately 21" wide x 9" high x 13" deep (533.4mm wide x 288.6mm high x 330.2mm deep).
